Cocaine Cocaine and weed = lack of libido?

Simple question for ya'll, my boyfriend quit cocaine for probably 2 months now but is still smoking weed daily and i have been noticing his low libido. Now we are 3 months in, in our relationship and I am finding myself having to almost beg for sex. Now he gets erections easy and can arrive in a timely manner, but doesn't seem to want to have relations with me. And I am not bad on the eyes either " I do have to say". Is this due to his past and current drug use? Or is it me? Any thoughts? Thanks

Why don't you try asking him? Him smoking weed doesnt tell us much. Some people like 'relations' on it, some don't. Its not gonna kill your sex drive like an opiate will though. I guess you could try drinking together, see if that helps.

And I am not bad on the eyes either

zerr, it's not the drinking aspect of it tho trust me I tried that to. I am wondering if its because he might be going through withdrawls from the coke.

Potent stimulant use is well known to cause a huge dip in dopamine re-uptake while in withdrawal and some time after...

He could just be in the apathetic stage of this... His dopaminergic system is probably just not up to par yet.

That is why you see so many sad a gloomy stimulant users while not using...

It’s a pretty harsh cycle if you overdo it.
