I'm 6'1, 200 pounds . I have been taking klonopin 1mg (perscribed) on and off for about a year and a half , sometimes 2 a day with my highest dose at 17.5 (recreational). I have just started getting into opiates a month ago it was 6 percs a couple times, now I've moved on to oxycodone 30mg IR but only doing lines of 15-20mgs and have only snorted the IR 7 times . Now my question is if I took a klonopin 24 hours ago, is it safe to rail my usual 15-20 mg line? As I have seen many times you can always pop a pill but you can't unpop it and with klonopins half life this has me wondering. Any input? Thanks

if you have been taking your medication as prescribed fr a while you will be tolerant to its effects, you should be just fine, esp. after 24 hours. but just be mindful that you may need less oxycodone to feel high.

i would not combine "recreational" doses of benzos with opioids.

I was on Klonopin when I had to have back surgery. My dose was 1 to 2mg daily. The doctors were not concerned about my mixing that dose of Klonopin with my oxycodone post surgery. I did not take huge amounts of oxycodone at one time (only 5 to 10mg), but took the oxy every 4 hours. Having just had surgery, I was only dosing for pain management and terrible anxiety. I was not using recreational amounts.

It's not a good thing to do, however speaking in my case. The first time I did heroin I was on 7mg on xanax and a bottle of jager. I thought I was fine, but I'm sure I was about to die. Dumb things you can do on benzo's and alcohol. Be careful, keep benzo dose low, should be good.

PS: Know your body and what it can handle.

OK... since you have been taking clonazepam for over 18 months you have developed a tolerance. in addition, you have given yourself 24 hours, more than enough time to accommodate a recreational opiate dose. when you go to mix the clonazepam and oxycodone (you know that is going to be your next question...), however, you need to dramatically reduce the dosage of both. if you have a 30 to 40 mg recreational habit you need to start at 5 to 10 mg. Break the clonazepam into 1/3 or 1/4 of your typical dosage.
