Benzos Clonazepam and Etizolam addiction

So I've been taking Clonazepam for a little over a year now and haven't really abused it; been averagin .5mg/day until i started my taper at .25mg/day a month ago which seems to be going well, but my main concern is my Etizolam usage. I've been using Etizolam for a few months now, taking it everyday ranging from 1-6mg/day, and often go on binges where I take 10mg for a few days then go back to my normal amount.

I plan on tapering off Etizolam too at some point but I enjoy using it too much and was wondering if it could affect my Clonazepam taper? I really don't want to taper off two benzos at the same time so I'm wondering how I should plan this out?

I was thinking maybe just quitting Etizolam cold turkey or do a short taper since I will still be taking Clonazepam for about another month when my taper ends, so maybe it could help prevent any possible seizures from the Etizolam withdrawals.

Oh and I also have Phenibut but I only take it a couple times a week. Thanks.

Just switch to one of the meds at whatever dose takes away your withdrawals, and taper from there.

Withdrawal doesn't work the way you are talking about it. You don't get dependent to specific drugs like heroin, or alprazolam, etc. You get dependent on opiates or benzos themselves, the class of drugs and how they effect the brain. It's just a matter of what your tolerance is and how long your withdrawals will be. That's the only thing effected by the specific drug based on your dosage and its half-life.

So, it's not like you're addicted to etizolam and clonazepam separately. You are addicted to benzos and taking any one benzo at the right dose will eliminate your withdrawal symptoms.
 
Is Etizolam addictive even? I've gone though 1000x10mg boxes and take month long breaks. I took 200mg today like before and felt fine the next day. Perhaps since it isn't a true benzo?

Fucking eye twitches suck though

When I last used it I wasn't long out of a nasty case of Xanax withdrawls. The Etiz caused a similar rebound to the Xanax, between that and everything I've read online I'm confident in saying it definitely can cause withdrawls. Taking something for 2 days isn't the same as a persistant habbit but at the doses you're talking I'd think 200mg of Etiz in a day you'd be clean out asleep even with a big tolerance.

Are you remembering Etizolam pills are 1mg, not 10mg like Valium.

I would say there is a high chance it will effect your Clonazepam taper. Switch to just Clonazepam and see. When trying to taper off a long acting benzo taking something short acting like Etizolam aswell is very unwise, stick to the taper and get off the Clonaz. This seems like madness even to me.
 
When tapering, you always want to use a drug with a long-half life if you can. That's why methadone/bupe is used for opiates, and valium is used a lot of the times for for benzo withdrawal. Clonazepam is another benzo with a long-half life, much longer than etizolam.

So switch to a dose of clonazepam that will stabilize you, and then taper from there. You wont need to take anymore etizolam.
