Benzos Clonazepam and diazepam

Do you have any tolerance to benzodiazepines? This is not a very high dose even for a person without tolerance, but if you're not tolerant, it will make you very weak, sedated and sleepy, and cause amnesia. Don't mix it with alcohol and opioids. Do you take any other medicines?

If you really need to take benzodiazepines and have no tolerance, I would only take 5mg of diazepam if I were you. Feeling weak and amnesic is no fun at all.

By tolerance I mean a situation when a person has been taking a drug for some time and needs higher and higher doses for the same effect. Obviously, natural tolerance may vary among people as well.

Clonazepam is around 10 times more potent by weight than diazepam, so 1mg of clonazepam + 5mg of diazepam isn't going to be stronger than 3mg of clonazepam alone. Be careful with benzodiazepines, if you don't need to take them, then by all means don't. The addiction to benzodiazepines is very hard to kick, both the psychological and physical symptoms of withdrawal are horrible. It's been 8 months since I quit clonazepam after being on benzodiazepines daily for 9 years, the withdrawal seems to be long gone, but the persisting depersonalisation/derealisation makes my life very hard to live. Trust, you don't want to find yourself in such a state.
