For those that are familiar with my posts know I have a passion for downers. I've had barbiturates the most euphoric being amobarbital, about 20+ different benzos, alcohol, soma, ghb, you get the point. I recently had the opportunity to try clomethiazole as I've heard it being described as one of the most euphoric GABAergics, and read here on bluelight someone saying clomethiazole + opiates blows benzos or barbs + opiates. One of my favorites is Soma when it comes to mixing with opiates but taking Soma with methadone seems to work although I am suspicious of the CYP2C19 enzyme interaction it doesn't really have a bad effect on my MMT, it potentates it and doesn't remove it faster. I always take benzos with my methadone (prescribed) so I always need something stronger if I want to nod.
First by itself I started with 200mg that I swallowed with water by placing under my tongue, as expected I threw up right away. I put 200mg in caps and took 2 this way and felt very nice, calm but the euphoria was very subtle and not in your face, I also felt 'moreish'.
My main concern is weather the chemical nature of clomethiazole is safe for the body since it is said to melt plastic and esp. after I had the opportunity to place it on my tongue even 1mg and it feels disgusting, much more so than the smell. Its leading me to believe that it can seriously fuck up your organs in terms of damage, for ex. when I had 800mg (400mg + 2 200mg throughout the day) for the entire next day and the day after I felt like I had an ulcer or like you feel when chugging a large amount of alcohol but constantly through the day even after drinking camomille (sp) & smoking lots of high grade weed.
Is is really that safe if it was/is used in so many countries if these are the effects it gives on the body?
Also I am currently on MMT 100mg methadone and know from previous experience that barbs don't go well with methadone in that they precipitate w/ds due to the inhibition of the CYP2D6 enzyme (benzos as well, to a less extent though) making the methadone wear off quicker, same principle as St. John's Wort. Alcohol also does this when taken 2+ drinks.
Maybe clomethiazole works the same as barbs in the enzyme induction since I felt a lot more agitated and angry after taking 800mg the day after that is, the night of I felt relaxed but nowhere near the claim that mixed with opiates its better than benzos or barbs.
