Misc citalopram, whats safe and whats not?

Citalopram is an SSRI. Which shouldn't be mixed with serotonergic drugs like MDMA and others.
It can also weaken the effects of psychedelics, but not always.

Research the threads here about SSRI.

I was recently prescribed citalopram (10mg). I've only taken low doses of 4-aco-dmt (10mg) with it, and I had no problems - it was quite pleasant and uplifting. Saying that - we're all different. Take care.

I was on Citalopram 40mg, I ate a 7g bag of mushrooms and felt/saw nothing hallucinogenic whatsoever. I also tried up to 2 tabs of 150u LSD and had the same thing, no effect at all. (First time doing both aswell so I was expecting fireworks but literally nothing happened)

It was difficult for me to get drunk also, normally I could be on the floor after very little alcohol, but I could down half a bottle of vodka and only be tipsy (probably dangerous as you might get alcohol poisoning but not realise it because you don't feel very drunk?)

And at last, marijuana, for me, it meant I needed to smoke more in order to get high.

So in short like CathodeRayTube says it pretty much nullifies everything else. At least that was my anecdotal experience, your mileage may vary.

Your biggest concern is serotonin syndrome, which usually happens from mixing serotonergic drugs (such as citalopram), even though it can happen exclusively from using one serotonergic drug.

SS is often caused by combinations of SSRIs with other proserotonergic agents, including the following:

Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs)
TCAs
Trazodone (Desyrel)
Serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs)
Norepinephrine-dopamine reuptake inhibitors
Lithium
Opioids
Amphetamine/stimulants - Including methylphenidate (Ritalin); 3,4 methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA, Ecstasy); cocaine; and herbal dietary supplements or nutraceuticals (St. John's wort, ginseng, and S-adenosyl-methionine)

Generally, citalopram and any other SSRI is unsafe with most things. Taking it will certainly but a big damper on recreational drug use in general, as well as dull the effects of anything you might take while on it. As well as dulling the effects of everything you think or do, in general.
