Cig filters and joints

Hey all,

I use cigarette filters instead of making a roach for my joints because it reduces the time it takes to make.

But one of my friends suggested that using these filters - instead of a bit of cardboard rolled up (the roach) - would in fact reduce the amount of THC reaching my brain.

I'm hoping someone here can tell me whether this is true or not. If it is I've probably wasted a lotttt :(

Thanks in advance.

na i dont use cig filters, i fear it may take too much of me wonderful smoke out.

what i do is roll cone joints, with the base of the cone wrapped around a tiny cardboard filter i make out of the package the joints come in.

i dont like smoking joints tho, more of a group preference amongst my friends. im all about water bongs 99% of the time.

i do the same thing...cone-style.

why have i found no other person in real life that does this other than the man who showed me how to roll a doobie?

it's such a superior way to roll a joint. it hits like a cigarette and you don't have to worry about getting stray weed in yo mouf.

this is a shoutout to all those who roll joints like me, even though rolling a joint is very wasteful and i never do it unless i've got disgusting weed.

use a roach. the piece of rolled up cardboard.

you guys do realise that you can buy pads of roach papers, little rectangular bits of cardboard that are perforated and made for this exact situation, right? you can buy them everywhere in smoking shops and online and wherever. they work better than using random bits of cardboard too.

i do the same way, i always hate getting the joint wet and the paper end closing up on me...... so i started putting this cardboard ( round paper in the end) it not only makes it SO easy to roll the joint it self, but you dont have to burn you fingers, and you also dont have to hassle around anything,

so much better :)

That's why they call it a crutch :)

You're definitely losing some THC, although nobody can really say exactly how much. It might be insignificant, but maybe not. Just use some rolled up paper/cardboard.

Real men of genius roll joints like this. =D

Even on regular tobacco cigarettes the filters do not actually work to reduce tar/nicotine intake and they just make people more addicted.

I don't see the point of using a cig filter in a J, why not just make a roach with a small piece of the carboard you find in the back of the pack of the pack of rolling papers?

one of my friends used to smoke blunts with a black and mild filter he said it made it hit nice and smooth but now knowing it was taking out most of the THC i think of how much good bud i wasted D:
