Been chipping every 3rd day for 3 months. Using 90 mg of hydro all at once at night and not using again. The past 16 days I've been doing it every other night. Thats 9 norco at once and nothing else cept cronic.

It's been 50 or so hours since I last used and I don't feel any ill effects. Is it possible that I am avoiding them on this kind of a schedule? once upon a time I was 120mg a day oxy for a good period( 1.5 years) of time and I went through full opiate W/D's when I quit CT.

That was the end of last year. The weird part is I was 3 months clean and when I started using again it took 70mg norco to feel it. My tolly didn't drop a bit, maybe it was even higher than before? Maybe I don't remember it that well.

Anyways, is it possible to take 90 mg hydro every 48 hours and not be addicted ? I keep waiting for the symptoms... I have plenty of norco around in case. I have a bit of will power. However I know I've been going too much lately and am going for an entire week clean.

Thanks.

probably with your disciplined schedule and your little bit of a taper at the end, you are likely in the clear if you're 50 hours out with no perceptible signs of withdrawal. personally i think every 48 hours is a little risky, i've heard the maximum frequency quoted as the "eight in seventy two" rule, that is, if you use for 8 hours tops then keep 64 hours clean between intervals, you can avoid addiction. from my own experience, i think a safer maximum dosing frequency is maybe two consecutive days on, five days off, but if you can go further than that, all the better for you (you'll keep your tolerance lower and retain more of the "magic" of the experience). if i were you i'd consider myself lucky that you got out as easily as you have done and stay away for a while... opiates are a wily beast and withdrawals are a bitch...

Thank you. I feel good now. I am waiting for the morning and see. What scares me is this. If I don't feel any kind of w/d's I will think it's ok to keep going at this pattern. I know the 8/72 rule and thats what I started out doing. But I don't use for 8 hours, I use once,, it lasts maybe 2-3 hours and I don't use again, maybe that's the thing? I don't know. I know it's playing with fire and have to at least go 4 days to know for sure. Thats hard when you have 100 + norco in the house and more when you want them. Maybe it's becuase it's not oxy? maybe hydro is that much less addictive? Crap I dunno.

66 hours and I'm ok. Guess I got lucky. I did have a hard time falling asleep last night, probably just in my head thing.

No it is not possible. If you are getting away with it is is only becuase of your brief period of usage. Continue doing this and you will get withdrawals of that I am 100% sure.

Even once a week is pushing it in my oppinion when it comes to opiate chipping. It very easily gets out of hand quickly.

Then I got lucky. If there were withdrawals from using like that it would be mild though right?

On Poppy Tea I can go about 36 hours and feel no WD's, 40-50 hours after dosing and mild symptoms set in until about 72 hours where "shit hits the fan", both literally and metaphorically. But, PT has an uber-long half life so that plays a part in the 36 hour WD free period. Given the short half-life of Hydrocodone I'm surprised you weren't clucking around the 24 hour mark.

Remember; getting clean is easy enough, staying clean is a fucking monster.
Good luck.
