Chest pain, anxiety, minor seizing?!

I've been smoking regularly for about 2 years, but recently I've developed an extremely annoying, painful and even scary reaction to weed. I'm currently prescribed a low dose of xanax (3 doses x 0.5mg = 1.5mg/day) for social anxiety issues, but that's mostly gone and I just like having the xanax

Anyways, here's the main problem: Starting about 2 months ago, about 10 minutes after toking up, I begin to feel a very powerful and painful "pressure" in my whole chest, especially over my heart, as well as my strong stomach and throat discomfort. Then about 5 minutes later, like clockwork, I begin to develop bad anxiety and start shaking a little bit. Within a few more minutes my entire body sometimes begins "seizing". I have very rapid, involuntary muscle movements all over my body, which can be very painful and also exhausting. For some strange reason I develop a limp in my left leg and have to struggle to walk. But within another 10 minutes or so, it all disappears and I feel nice and high, as if nothing had happened. The whole ordeal only lasts about 20 minutes, then all trace of it just vanishes.

I've gone through this cycle of smoke, feel absolutely terrible for about 20 minutes, and then just feel normally stoned for the next several hours, probably about 50 times by now. I haven't quitb ecause I love getting high, but I REALLY hate those 20 minutes of pain and anxiety.

The weird thing is, I've tried taking Xanax beforehand many many times, and the anxiety melts away but the pain and "seizing" remains. One time I actually smoked a good amount of black tar Heroin, popped a 2mg xanax bar and 800mg Neurontin (a very nice anti-seizure/pain medication) and was feeling great. Then I decided to smoke a bowl, the same pain and seizing thing happened again. If fucking heroin, xanax and neurontin can't at least mask the symptoms... it seems like something is really wrong

At first I thought my heart was beating too fast but my heart rate is generally pretty stable (60-70 bpm) even during the anxiety attacks. The pain isn't focused on my lungs either, because I can smoke cigarettes with no problems, have a great lung capacity and almost never cough. I've tried smoking at least 6 kinds of bud, all kinds of smoking methods (pipes, bongs, blunts, everything), and nothing seems to be the cause. I also tried taking a 3 week T-break, but the pain and anxiety actually got worse afterwards.

I'm just really frustrated because I love smoking weed so much, and I've been doing it for quite a while with no big issues, but then this crap has ruined the beginning of every single smoking sesh'

Any insight?

wow aint you just the model for healthy living.

stop all your other drug use, stop smoking. stop everything, then let us know how you feel.
try smoking weed. let us know what happens.
what is your medical history.

you cant really expect us to give you insight when you dont really give us much to go with.

It sounds like you are prone to major anxiety from smoking, this can happen to some people when they smoke and it's why some people stop smoking or just do it a few times a year or decide that they don't like it so they don't do it again.

I would sometimes get bad anxiety too but when I would smoke I would just realize that it happens and go with it and eventually within a few minutes it would go away or I'd just wind up laughing at myself for being paranoid/anxious that someone was going to catch me since I did take lots of precautions and eventually the anxiety from herb just went away completely but I was a full blown pothead smoking multiple times daily then.

I don't suggest you become a full blown pothead and get blazed out of your mind daily to cure your anxiety, but only you know what herb does to your mental state and body.

I have a friend that apparently had worse anxiety than I do and he only smokes maybe once or a few times a month and uses herb as a way to relax anxiety when the herb first hits him and up to the peak of being stoned but he'll just hang out with friends and distract his mind by watching movies or listening to music.

I've never taken a benzo for anxiety or Neurontin since I'm not epileptic but if I were epileptic and smoking herb gave me seizures I would not smoke it or I'd talk to a doctor to see if it was OK to smoke as an epileptic.

I also would avoid smoking Sativas/Sativa dominant herb since Indicas relax me and do not make me anxious, everyone is different though.

As for the chest pain while I've never smoked dope/H I've been told that it is hard on your lungs and smoking pot and cigs are not good either.

Eating herb made me VERY anxious with horrible panic attacks but I accidentally ate too much and I hear it's better in lower doses. I've never vaporized herb so I have no idea what that is like.

Just for the record, I've only done heroin twice, this being the second time. For the most part I don't do many drugs except for cannabis and the low dose of xanax (doesn't get me high, mostly just keeps me above the withdrawl threshold cuz I'm addicted). I always try and buy indicas because sativa's trigger way worse anxiety.

What still doesn't make sense is why the anxiety and seizing would happen while on recreational doses of xanax (anti-anxiety) and neurontin (anti-seizure).

Oh and I'm not epilectic or anything.

Were you actually having seizures or did your muscles just twitch and feel restless after you smoked?

I've had that happen after smoking and I've never had any type of seizure from like a grand mal seizure to a minor one.
