Opioids Cheratussin AC dosage vs. oxycodone

Hello, I have come across 8 oz. of Cheratussin AC (10mg codeine per 5ml & Guaifensin 100mg per 5ml ). I am curious about how much would be enough for a good high.

I generally will eat 90mg of oxycodone for a nice high, so basically what amount of the cough syrup will equal 90mg of oxy?

The entire bottle contains roughly 472 mg of codeine, which is enough to give you a good buzz. However it also comes with 4.7 grams of guaifenesin, which could cause significant nausea or even vomiting if you chug the whole bottle. Now, I chugged 6 oz of the same syrup with minimal nausea, but I am a large man. I'd take half and if you are feeling okay after 30 minutes, take the other half.

Also: Codeine is not as euphoric as oxycodone and cause a lot more itching.

Thanks for the reply, I drank half about 45 mins ago, dont feel shit so ill put down the other half. (Im a large dude also 250lbs )

You probably won't be able to get high from it since oxycodone is way more potent than codeine, and the full amount of codeine in there is only equal to about 25-32mg of oxycodone since 100mg of codeine is equal to only 5.0-6.7mg of oxycodone. Since most opioids have an incomplete cross-tolerance it may feel like a little more than that, but still probably won't be enough to get you high considering your tolerance.

Honestly I just would have taken it as prescribed since I would be worried about feeling sick from taking too much Guaifensin, making the risk outweigh the reward since you (or I, considering my tolerance) wouldn't feel much of anything from it.

Watch out for the "itch". I loathe codeine for its ungodly ability to cause a massive histamine dump which can get so severe I will scratch myself until I'm bleeding with nasty gashs. I find codeine to be very very bland and rather unpleasant. I have never been able to achieve anything fun from it, but others love and sware by it.
