chem burns?

the other day i was a party and i had some molly. some guy asked me how he should take it. i said put it in water and down it since i find its the easiest and best way. He turned to me and said that i was a idiot cause i will get chem burns from that. Wtf is a chem burn and is it true?

taking molly that way is a very safe and effective way of administration. Chem burns = chemical burns and molly can cause chemical burns if it is held in the mouth for a while but there is no chance of getting them if you drink the molly dissolved in liquid. first, its dilluted so the consentration of thte chemical in one spot is not enough to cause irritation and second, its only in your mouth for the time it takes to swallow, third its constantly moving in the liquid so it can sit up against the cheek long enough.

MDMA is not corrosive... I don't think it has any reactions with skin or saliva so you can tell him he is a moron.

I'm pretty damn sure that it is, on the contrary. Although I'm not saying drinking dissolved molly will cause chemical burns, whoever told you this is mildly retarded or ridiculously gullible.
 
I'll say chemical burns are possible first hand. I took a pill and let it sit under my tongue (sublingual) but when I swallowed it, I noticed the veins had become a little bit irritated. It didn't bug me until the night was over when I was sober, then it was really annoying (especially when I tried eating.) Knowing me, I kept playing with it, so it took a while to heal lol.

Exactly... that's why I don't snort, my buddy tried it and had the nosebleed from hell. :P

I know there was probably something else going on for his nose to bleed, but still, it was pretty gross haha. And he seemed very much in pain.

Hmmm... I could be totally wrong, and provide a source if I am, but isn't MDMA originally a corrosive oil before it reacts with an acid to become a solid?
 
Then if you let a pill dissolve under your tongue will you get those "chem burns"?
 
Like I said earlier, I personally got a chemical burn by taking a pill the sublingual method (letting it dissolve under my tongue) but none of my friends did, so I was the only one out of four who got a chemical burn that way.
 
What pisses me off the most is when people ask questions they think they already know the answer to.

Agreed, some of the cleanest molly gave me a slight chemburn when I snorted it. Got a bad nosebleed and shit, which really killed my roll (for about 10 minutes, then it hit me like a ton of bricks :D)

Anyway, that way is completely safe. I usually gel cap or toilet paper the powder, but I see no harm in putting it in a glass of water.
 
i thought regular amphetamine is a base, and not too weak of one, that could be why, if amphetamine is a base, id bet MDMA would be a base too.
