I'm in NY and it's impossible to get any narcotic w/out a script.
Hate to say this, but have you ever thought of going to your care physician and telling them you "have" pain? Tell them you have extreme pain in, around, and behind you knee. The doctor should then feel around your knee and make the conclusion that you must have a cyst (fluid buildup) in the joint. They'll then tell you that you'll have to see a specialist to get the fluid removed.
X-ray's can't detect this (not that they'll even ask you take an x-ray) and cysts are extremely common so they shouldn't even think twice about it.
He/She will probably say that they'll give you some codeine for the pain. If they don't say that, before they leave the room tell them "This is extremely painful, can you give me something for the pain?" Make sure to say it EXACTLY as I just said and then let them recommend something first. If you're fine with codeine, don't say anything after that. But if you are looking for something stronger than codeine - tell them you are ALLERGIC to codeine (since it actually is possible to be allergic to codeine) and have gotten adverse effects from it before.
Pending on the doctor they'll probably one of two things. Either "Tough luck that's what you're getting." or they'll say "Eh......I guess I'll give you some Vicodin."

In regards to the Loperamide (Imodium), Concurrent administration of P-glycoprotein inhibitors such as quinidine and its other isomer quinine (although much higher doses must be used), PPIs like omeprazole (Prilosec OTC) and even black pepper (piperine as the active ingredient) could potentially allow loperamide to cross the blood–brain barrier. It should however be noted that only quinidine with loperamide was found to produce respiratory depression, indicative of central opioid action.
Yes Imodium does help with the physical wd but in no way does it get u even close to high at all. Before I took it, I was reading all kinds of things that it COULD get u high so u know in my head that meant I was going to get high. So disappointing. Actually disgusting that I took so many in the hopes of getting high!
You have been using opiates for a very long time and probably have a huge tolerance to them. Loperamide does get people high.....if they have a low to nonexistent opiate tolerance.
