I am so mad at myself that I could scream.
I just found out that I, more than likely, have Central Sleep Apnea. I started feeling fatigued, dizzy, and having headaches after coming off Xanax last fall. I didn't taper because I was taking about .25-.5 mg and I would take breaks. Well it may have unmasked Central Sleep Apnea because the symptoms above started. Not knowing what to do, I got back on Xanax hoping it would fix my fatigue (i hadn't been diagnosed yet.)
After having a sleep study, they say i'm not breathing properly in my sleep and I'm scared to death.
I am still in my twenties and do not want to buy and use a $2000+ machine the rest of my life. I am hoping if I detox from both drugs this will go away.
Anyhow, which drug do you guys feel would be better to detox from first?
I'm taking about 1.5mg daily of Subutex. About .75 in afternoon and .75 at night.
I'm also taking about .5 to 1mg of Xanax to sleep throughout the night. I usually wake up at 5-6 am and don't feel rested at all and have to take a small piece to get a couple more hours of "sleep."
I am severely depressed and blame myself for being stupid enough to stay on these medications for years.
What do I do?
