Is this blend of creatine good? Should i have just boughten store-brand monohydrate? :( Feel like i got played by the salesman at hi-health supplement nutrition...

Just get creatine monohydrate, I wouldn't trust the salesman at any of those health stores.

dammmnn only one reply? it was a good one but damn....i have been seeing SOME results (3-4 extra reps on each set) and improved recovery time and muscle harndness and fullness throughout the day.....would i have gotten this with monohydrate?

Creatine is creatine. Monohydrate would of been cheaper and given the same results. The best way to take it is to add it to whatever you drink in the morning, creatine monohydrate that is, because it's a tasteless somewhat easily liquid soluble compound.

Creatine is decent. All the weight you put on is just intracellular water though. It does however increase recovery time and because of the intracellular fluid retention is causes a more anabolic environment for muscle cells. One thing that sucks though is it can make tearing a muscle easier.

It's an excellent compound for people younger than 20 who want to use steroids but are too young. It's also a great compound for steroid user to use during PCT.

Some people like it, some don't. Personally I don't like it because it gives me a bloated look but it does work.

might just be psychological but i felt slightly weaker when i got off creatine. doesn't it also have some effect on endogenous testosterone/androgens?

i think the best thing you can really get out of your local GNC is a bottle of DHEA, mucuna dopa, and a bottle of spike shooter (the last two kick serious ass at getting you pumped up for a lift). other than that i never really found anything useful.

It's an actual effect. You will feel slightly weaker coming off. Creatine is like instant energy for muscles, no conversion required. Creatine has no effect on testosterone or any androgenic properties.

I'll probably start using it since it's apparently "strictly" intramuscular cells that are affected by it and not the cells surrounding.

Unless you're working out hardcore or going often, creatine is not really needed. It's mostly just putting on muscle water. Don't let it trick you into thinking you're rapidly gaining muscle mass because that takes time (although it can look nice). A lot of people make the mistake of taking creatine and thinking they're getting massive. Then they stop the supplement and piss out all that extra fluid, and they go back to being smaller again.

Anyway... I would just get the cheapest creatine, monohydrate is fine. There are a lot of gimmicks out there with modified creatines, but really, you just need the baseline one. Your body produces it anyway.

Like everyone has said, creatine works to a point by filling up your muscles with water. Its definitley useful for ectos and people new to lifting, but for us bigger guys with higher bf% it seems to bloat more than anything with not enough strength gain to make it worthwhile. As a bigger guy ive found better improvements in workouts and phsyique changes using nitric oxide products or things that contain arginine, or arginine-akg. seems to give you more of a pump and vascular look rather than a puffy water filled look.
