Cat on Cocaine

I was at a friend's house doing some blow tonight. I was so spaced out that I forgot she had cats, and I walked out of the room for about a minute and noticed one of her cats standing over my plate with coke on it. It didn't look like anything was missing, so I can't be sure if the cat ate or inhaled any of it.

If it did, I'm assuming it was a tiny amount since the amount of coke on the plate looked the same, and the cat seemed fine after that for the couple of hours I was there before I left. Is it possible that the cat could die at some point later even though he was acting fine and normal for a while before I left?

If the cat does die, I promise to kill myself. No one who carelessly leaves an innocent animal exposed to such a dangerous substance deserves to live.

cats have superior sensitive nose and tongue than humans. it sounds impossible to me a cat licks a plate blow on it. im sure she just curious and wanted to observe closely

also cats have trouble wit metabolizing certain xenobiotics and cocaine is one of them so if she licks sum, even a tiny bit, shed have serious toxicity which ud notice.

I can assure you the cat did not lick any.

it might've smelled it, and if it got anything it was just whatever would've been in the air around the plate, and since the plate was sitting still, I doubt there was anything.

cat will be fine.

I always worry about this when me and my mates dog coke or mephedrone at mine and the dogs are in, i always make sure the dogs are out while we rack up then when i let them back in the room put it up high somewhere because dogs will be curious and sniff about it.

while it would suck to kill an animal, especially with drugs, you should never kill yourself over it. especially since you weren't feeding the animal the drugs. but personally, I think thats something you just said, if it came down to it, I doubt you would actually kill yourself. so that part wasn't necessary to add. we wouldn't have jumped on you if the cat would've gotten any. at least the sane people wouldn't. now, if you were forcibly holding the cat and shoving it in its nose, or making it lick your finger, thats a whole different ballpark.
