I've been using Roxi's (30mg) since 2010. Last year I stopped using them addictively (Jan. 2012 to be exact). Since then I've managed to do mini binges of 4-5 days (60mg a day) every 2-3 months. However, even though I'm only doing them for a few days spaced out months at a time, I still have a strange 'hangover/withdrawal.' I don't get shakes, insomnia, sweats, or acute symptoms at all; what I deal with is severe energy drain, motivation completely zapped for about 7-14 days after. I like that I've managed to 'gain control' of my use, and every time my binge is pre-planned, but I'm worried I won't be able to recreationally use anymore. I exercise 7 days a week (lift and box), own a business, and am 100% sober (no smoking/drinking) between binges. Any way to curtail this extended opiate hangover and get my energy motivation back sooner?

It would prob be best for someone with more knowledge of pills to chime in. Every time you use and come off its going to be a little harder each time. Even though you are only using on a monthly bases you are using for 4/5 days. By the 5th day your receptors are saturated with oxy. So to prevent hangover/withdrawal you'd be best to cut back your bingeing to 2/3 days at a time.

I feel exactly the same way. I cut back to 2 consecutive days with atleast 5-6 weeks in between binges. After only two days of use, I don't feel depressed afterwards. If I got 3-4 days, the depression sets in. It lasts 7-10 days. Just my experience. Thanks for reading.

Thanks for your input guys. Yes it seems wise to cuts back the amount of days. I doubt it's the time in between that's the problem, so much as the binging for 4-5 days as you both were saying. I'll try for 2-3 days and see how it goes. It's amazing that using a substance and dosing just a couple times a day for 4-5 days would create these PAWS like symptoms, but I guess goes to show how powerful oxycodone is. Oh well, I'd bet it's still healthier than drinking 2-3 days a week like the majority. I wonder how man people have this problem?

Another question, when the Lethargy/Demotivation/Depression arrives, any advice on bouncing back quickly? I am addicted to the gym (always have been), drink a gallon of water a day, take multis, and keep very busy. Anything else I can implement?

I agree...take it down to a 3 day bender, but use day 4-5 to taper a little instead of just stopping at 60mg+ per day for 3-4 days. Take 30mg on day 4 and 10 mg on day 5. This will ensure your body is not in so much shock from not having the oxy in your system. Some would consider this a waste, but I would rather not have any WD symptoms. The same thing started to happen to me after 1-2 years of casual use. I now taper at the end of my mini benders and I don't feel as shitty the next few days. Kratom and some lope will help too on taper days. Just don't start taking Kratom daily, use it for a day or 2 taper if you don't want to waste pills. It will work.

Np. You are wise to cut back. Since you are already living very healthy I think the depression is something your going to have to ride out.
