(answered) Can't upload avatar

Hi. I can't upload an avatar. I get the message "Upload of file failed". My image is 100 by 100 pixels and less that 100kb. Please help me figure out what I'm doing wrong.

100 by 100 pixels and less that 100kb.

avatars need to be 50x50 (or smaller) and less than 20k.
