So I've had an on again off again relationship with heroin for the last 3 years. The pain has finally surpassed the pleasure of it so now I'm on day 5 of being sober. The main physical withdrawal symptoms are gone besides the insomnia.

But I am having trouble getting my 'mojo' back.. and it's really worrying me. I can't even get hard and I'm on day 5.. shouldn't I be super horny during this time?

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.. I'm really worried about it. 8)

Don't be worried. That'll only make it harder. You just have to wait it out man. Opiates really fuck with our little friends.

i think some things our worse than others about messing with our prized posseions but when i would go through it id experience the same..cept i would be puking every 20 min for 2 weeks..but my shit would also shrink up so bad it was shocking and i also really wasnt even interested

And, not to be too detailed here, don't be surprised if when your other head finally does come around, his contribution is a bit discolored. This is typical after a long dope grind.

That's weird... I only ever hear of hyper-sexuality when coming down or withdrawaling... Were you using IV? It is based entirely on blood flow, you know...

Regular use of opioids can reduce testosterone levels. One can experience a consequential drop in weight, muscle mass, libido, etc.

Your mojo will come back in full swing in due time. In the meantime, you could lift some weights to stimulate testosterone production. Squats, Deadlifts, and other heavy full body movements are great for this purpose.

yeah usually its the opposite.

it could just be because your blood pressure is whacked out from kicking.

Yeah.

Anecdotally speaking, you should notice things by now. Wait another week and go get your levels checked if you don't.

Thanks you guys. I've been lifting every morning and swimming during the day and trying to get at least 3000 calories in a day.. compared to when I was eating like 300 calories a day. haha

Yeah im the opposite.. can't get it up when im high and can't keep it in my pants when im wd'ing.
