Cant get erection from Oxycodone use! Please help me!

Im a 23 year old male. I started using Oxycodone regularly about 6 months ago. It started as 30-60mg IR the first few months then gradually increased. At about the 4 month mark i noticed i didnt have any sex drive at all and began to not be able to get hard or even stay hard during sex, masturbation or absolutely anything.. its gotten worse and worse and my habit did as well. It got to the point of taking up to 220mg daily intranasaly. I went cold turkey 3 days ago. Well, actually tomorrow will be my first whole day without any oxy. How long before i can get hard again, or just want to have sex? Before this addiction i always got morning wood and always got horny at the slightest of things. This is really scaring me and making this depression really bad along with all of the other withdrawal symptoms. I thought it would stop after i quit injesting these evil pills, but i tried earlier in the shower to masturbate to no success of getting hard at ALL. Someone please help me.. i have a wife and this cannot go on much longer.
 
Are you prescribed it or is it recreational?
Many meds cause you to lose your sex drive so that seems like a normal side effect.
 
Give it a month and your sex drive will come back with a vengeance and erections should not be affected anymore. If it bothers you this much than let it be your reason to stop.
 
just to make sure, you are only on oxy? no ssri's at all...

also severe depression will affect your sex drive
 
If you've cut off your meds then you should be back up and running soon. But if those aren't recreational meds then don't cut it off yet. Make sure you are fully stuck to the prescription and then after that you should be having hour-long ones within a week.
 
I was on 240mg a day for a few years and had very low libido. Then I went to rehab and detox. Now I'm as good as new! Sex drive is completely restored. I hope all is well mate. Look after yourself.
 
Opiates nakedly dimp limp. When penetrated my dick feels I'm getting rig burn...Opiates and sex are a no no for me. I never understood dope dick all these guys talk about
 
The only way is to get off the oxy. Your hormones are suppressed due to the opiate and will continue to be so. If you got your blood checked chances are your testosterone would be very low and estrogen in the mid-high range. Hence why a lot of opiate abusers have poor body composition, low libido, and are skinny fat or just fat, and often have bitch tits.


Once you stop taking it your body will reach homeostasis and you will be horny as hell again.

Also, the anxiety thinking you can't get an erection can also effect your ability as well as depression/stress.
 
I was in the same boat my friend, after 2 years of daily opioid abuse my sex drive had vanished, and adding 6 months In the methadone clinic only made it worse. I almost lost my family over it, what girl wants a dude that never wants to bang? I'm also 23 years old, were talking peak sex drive age ya know. After I got sober it took a few months to get back too normal for me. But I didn't just have a habit I was physically dependent there for a while, my body just needed time to go back to normal. Now I'm slinging wood at her every other day
 
IME, the effects on libido persist through the withdrawal/detox phase. Don't worry, it's not permanent - you just have to give yourself more than a couple days off the oxy before those side effects will go away.

I hate to suggest more hard drug use to counter the effects of your current hard drug use, but if you want to cheat a bit and revive your sex drive temporarily before the dope dick goes away, amphetamine or methamphetamine should do the trick. I actually use this combo for sex and masturbation sometimes, with great success - amphetamines make me horny as hell for hours on end, to the point where I'm almost disappointed when I cum because I want to keep going, and opioids let me go for hours without blowing my load prematurely. Use this combo sparingly, if at all, though - it can be very addictive and kill your desire to have sex or masturbate while sober, because you'll just be thinking how much more satisfying it would be with drugs. But if you have a hot date coming up or something and you really can't afford to wait a couple weeks for your libido to recover from opioid abuse, popping an adderall or two should do the trick.
 
if u went ct from a moderate habit 3 days ago you should be spoogin urself too soon instead of not being able to. However if in future u insisting on using and wanting to function well , just wait until you are not too high (maybe at night if you take ur last dose in early afternoon etc, or in morning before you poop / use etc )
 
Hmm, oxy usually makes my dick hard, but I have different reactions to drugs than most people.

Opiates wake me up, uppers make me want to sit back and relax so I dunno

The problem might not be oxy, the only way to find out is to stop taking oxy for a while

Opiates have been famously known to kill sex drives, just the way it is, some things will never change
