We all know that Spice and Cannabis make everything better but in particular, movies. My question is, which movies do you love watching stoned?

Now, I am a movie PSYCHO. When I say watch a movie, I don't mean with a group of people talking behind you or chatting in the next room and whatnot... I mean zoned the fuck out and WATCHING the movie. I also don't want to hear just silly or funny movies. We all know that weed makes you giggle. The movies I want to know are the ones that take your breath away. Where it feels almost transcendent to watch while high or have made you laugh harder than anything before.

Here are my top 5.

Lately, though, I've caught myself watching Shawshank Redemption a lot on the late night when I'm trying to fall asleep despite a good buzz. That's a pretty bad ass movie.





And I can't stand people that turn movies into a social event. I'll watch a movie with you, but fuck, man, if I wanted to talk the whole time I don't think we would've decided to watch a movie in the first place.

I'm not a big fan of movies when I'm stoned all I see is people acting in front of a camera.
 
EXACTLY i mean in the beginning of my stoner days movies would be awesome, funny, vivid, interesting. Now i honestly just see actors acting, and it's so hard to not analyze that. I get side tracked too much for the most part now

Actually I've found The Prestige to be a pretty cool movie while altered. There, there's my contribution besides being a pisshead.

yeah, it's weird... it's always the highest budget productions that actually come away looking the tackiest.
Was watching LOTR: Return of the King... everything just looked horrible and it was as though it were a few people dancing around in front of obvious, horribly painted backdrops made of cardboard.
:S

I prefer comedies, or sometimes DnM deppression dramas like Requiem, but i'd rather be listening to music talking or playing games ;P

Really though... wouldn't it be more useful to ask for good movies, not movies to watch while stoned? Any movie that I like sober or any movie I think is good, I'm going to enjoy while high... well, actually I guess I dislike more serious movies while stoned... but what I was trying to say is that it all comes down to preference, watch what type of movies you like
 
you guise I really don't like movies. Fuckin so stupid. I'm so into comedy standup that I can't watch a movie.
However I got real stoned today and watched Tuvalu and I gotta tell ya... it was crazy.
