(experienced) greening out on weed for the first time...

This isn't my story, but my friends, but I was with him when it happened.
A few nights ago we were chilling in his back yard, sampling this fucking amazing chronic he had just found a source for. Unbelievable stuff, potent to the point of being almost too potent. I smoked half of a nice cannon and was buzzed out like a motherfucker, while my friend (who has been smoking since 9 years old) blazed through 2 spliffs, losing track of how much he had already smoked. I smoked a few bowls, and then things started to get CRAZY. We stared at eachother, and just busted out laughing like little kids hearing a dirty word for the first time. Unadultered, unstoppable laughter for almost 20 minutes. Amazing. Unfortunately, things soon took a turn for the worst.
I noticed my friends skin was taking on a clammy, sickly texture. His hands were almost blue, like a corpse. He started feeling nauseous and it was as if his persona totally changed in the blink of an eye. One second, he was the absolutely confident super-cool guy I know, the next he's bawling like a baby and dry heaving over his back porch. Luckily I managed to help out, got him some water and talked him down. Unfortunately, even when the nausea was over, he couldn't enjoy his high. He sat there, completely silent, shivering while I tried desperately to bring him out of his catatonic state.
After approximately 20 minutes, he snapped out of it with no memory of what had happened and we resumed our conversation. The next day, he told me that he felt paralyzed in his own body, and honestly couldn't move for all the numbness.
I guess this shows to never underestimate and always respect our friend THC - it may be a weaker psychoactive, but sometimes it sneaks up on you.

Yes! I cannot agree more, THC is (in my opinion) a very powerful hallucinogen that should not be underestimated!
Thanks for posting & welcome to bluelight..

I've had a similar experience. I started out laughing and ended up crying hysterically. I felt like I had instantly been thrown into an unwanted and unexpected acid trip. I couldn't hear the words that people were saying to me and I had a horrible twitch that was radiating through my whole body. The tension in my muscles felt like the worst charlie horse I've ever had. I also felt trapped in my body and felt like the experience was never going to end.
After I finally settled down a bit, I was still so disoriented that I couldn't give my friend directions to my own house. This was way more intense than any other trip I've ever experienced. Ever since this happened for the first time, I've had similar results when I've tried to smoke. So now I just don't even try. I hope for your friends sake that he doesn't have the same experience again.

We've all had these things happen to us at one point or another. When I first started smoking, I sat down once with some friends and smoked 5.5g of really good top of the crop bud, on an empty stomach and probably my 5th or 6th time smoking bud. Needless to say, you probably know what happend next. I started getting really pale and clammy and was throwing up everytime I sat up, so I had to constantly lay down on my back to avoid nausea and dizziness. It was a really bad experience, since then i've smoked over 200 times and haven't had something like that happen even after hour long sessions. It's mostly a matter of your body being used to thc and the other cannabinoids in weed that makes you go whitey on your friends all of a sudden.

i've had the same thing happen to me, but i was on meds at the time (effexor & zyprexa)
i would get weak as hell, and turn white. then i wouldn't be able to move, and if i tried, i'd pass out.
i just assumed it was from the meds, but who knows?

Yeah a lot of times pot can have a huge effect on you if your already on meds. I was once on something around 6mg of lorazepam and earlier that day I had done some ritalin, around 40-50mg. Then I went and got stoned about 1 or 2 hours after the lorazepam and about 5 or so hours after the ritalin. It fucked me up like never before, I was full on tripping and seeing stuff that wasn't even there like huge trucks coming my way when crossing the street, a whole world of digital people on my carpet and when I closed my eyes I seen myself somewhere in the unvierse tied to a round 2D circle, which would spin up, down, left, right and so on, and I had the face of one of those old egyptian saints (sphinx), while the circle and my field of vision would turn different colours. It was really psychedelic. So yeah, I would have to say pot does have a lot to do with other medications.
