Hey quick question for anyone who can help me out....

I know my shit on how to make bud work well to eat. But I was stumped when my girlfriends brother asked "hey, if you buy the pre-wrapped Pillsbury Cookie-Doe shit that comes in a tube, can you place herb in the cookie doe and bake it..similar to a firecracker?"
I told him this would be a PERFECT question for the fellow potheads on my forum<3
Would that work or wouold you have to do it the old fashioned way and make THC Butter...THEN add it to make cookie doe....

Thanx to anyone with some insight...
 
LoL... Come on guys! I posted this thread before I went to bed last night with the expectations to have this answered by the time I woke up this morning :| If the above topic WORKS then I'm gonna give it a shot. I dont wanna go wasting the amazing bud I recently picked up..Its called "Pot of Gold"

Should work, the THC will have time to dissolve in the lipids while the cookies bake. I'd grind it up and mix it in rather than just chucking a bud in though. I've only bothered to make cannabutter once, I usually just chuck some hash in with the mix.
 
I wouldn't throw a whole bud on per say..I'd grind that shit up as fine as pepper first & mix it in.
My question now is do you think the THC will have enough time to be released into the cookie? Cuz the cookies we plan on using say to bake 8-10 minutes on 400F. Are those conditions ideal for optimum THC release?
 
You have all the right requirements for the THC to be released into the cookie dough so it seems like it would work. The only thing that worries me is how effective it is.
