Canadian pain patients--Have you been prescribed Opana ER and/or IR? Is it available?

Hello folks,

I'm a chronic pain patient living on the east coast of Canada, currently I am taking Hydromorph Contin, but I do have interest in Opana ER, and am curious whether it is available to us?

My local pharmacy has many different Endo products and I am wondering if it is something they could order for me?

I did read an article online dated 2009 that stated Endo releasing Opana ER--and possibly IR (as I have no breakthrough medication)--is available to chronic pain patients here, however I know of no one who is prescribed this medicine.

It would be great to know as my Hydromorph Contin lasts nowhere near 12 hours and she refuses to up the dose (30mg/day) and I know oxymorphone is a bit longer lasting, so I'm hoping that a switch may ease her mind in getting me proper pain relief.
I've also been to a pain clinic and they asked her to raise my dose. In the past she dropped it to 12mg per dose and after the request she re-raised it back to 15mg, which is what it was before! It's a frustrating situation, and I'm wondering if there is any way anyone can help me out with some information since I'm tired of suffering.
