I've posted before. I have lower testosterone then I believe is correct. I also am 2 years clean of Hodgkins Lymphoma.

Does the fact that I had cancer cancel out any testosterone therapy?

Have you discussed this with your oncologist? If your testosterone is low and you want to raise it within the normal range, it would typically still be considered healthy unless your cancer was androgen-dependent (eg prostate).

Supraphysiological doses - amounts far above natural levels - are a different story. Personally I'd be concerned about overly elevated IGF-1 in that scenario. But not if you just want to restore 'normal' test levels.

Lymphoma treatment itself is often pretty toxic to the gonads, so I would expect him or her to be pretty sympathetic.

Thank for setting a few issues straight. I have a great new primary doctor who had Hodgkins Lymphoma himself. He will associate with me well in this area. He also admitted that I knew my stuff when it came to medical knowledge. Even if it "raises" chances of cancer, I'll insist that a decent level will set me straight. Okay. I'll keep it simpler then that, but I feel way older then I am. That's absolute bullshit.
