Alcohol Can you snort wine like you can snort vodka?

I think a "snifter" refers to something else entirely ;)

Ozzy Osbourne reportedly snorted a line of ants in the 70s.
This fact does not make it a good idea!
Show your sinuses some respect, you might wanna smell something one day.
 
If you are trying to get drunk by ingesting alcohol through your nasal membranes I would imagine wine is not going to work anywhere near as well as vodka because it has much lower alcohol/volume. Why would you want to do this anyway? Just drink it.
 
I don't even understand what you are trying accomplish through this. If you want to clean your nasal passages i would highly suggest a nettie pot. If you want to get drunk i think you're supposed to drink it.
 
I would soak a cotton ball in grain alcohol then shove it up your nose if I were you. I have no idea on the burn but I can't imagine it would be worse than hard sniffing liquor.
 
Theoretically you can snort anything that will go in your nose. (ie anthrax, drugs, ants, dirt)

Is it a good idea? I doubt it.

I have heard of jackasses snorting hard liquor. I think its more of a bravado thing.

If that were to get you drunk, well wine is like 1/4 of the strength so yeah you do the math.

Snort booze? Ugh, ever had booze come out of your nose before and remember how much that burned and hurt? No thanks to that. Just IV that shit!
 
start small and slowly increase your dose...you can always snort more wine, but you can never snort less...
the best thing to use is one of those bags of wine with the tap built in!
 
IV is the only way to go with alcohol. I don't like hard liquor very much though, so usually I just shot some Bud light.

When colleagues from work say "Let's go for a shot" they don't really think the same as me, never stop staring at me

Snorting alcohol is destructive to your nasal tissues, and besides, you might drown...

Closing this recklessly dumb thread. No HR value here other than to say, don't snort alcohol. Don't IV alcohol either.
