I know kinda hard question so heres an exsample:
peter 35 years old has been training for a good 6 years and has been eating very well. Sadly hes ectomorphic and he remains quit smal. Also his gentics suck. So year 7 he decidesnto do steroids, does it the correct way and gains about over the year a good 12 kg and looks really ripped. the year 8 he stops using. and ze is still working out.

does he shrink back to his normal size with time or does he keep his size?

Can he gain more than he had while on steroids without steroids?

if his musclels go back to normal size how long does he have until its all back to normal?

okay this might sound like a should I take this drug thread but i can assure you it issent. I am natural and im going to stay natural for the rest of my life. please just answer the questions.

thankyou :)

He/you will slowly lose muscle. It may take some time but you will lose most of the gains you made while on gear. You can't gain any significant lean mass after steroid use. I believe in blasting and cruising, coming off is counter productive.

if you stop from there on steroids will you be still remain and be bigger after a few months?

say arnold Schwarzenegger would start woring out again and he were 15 years younger. could he gai more without steroids then he was able to in the beginning without steroids?

its an hard questions i know i try and clarify it once more.

arnold starts worki g out for 5 years he is at the point where he cant gain anymore ( lets say he waighs 100kg) because his muscle mas builds off as fast as it build on. so he takes steroids, becomes worlds mr universe and than lets say he quits compltely until the point where he is pretty much at the beginning point where he stadted 15 years ago. so he starts again now for a few years.

now the question: Can he gain more than he had after 5 years without steroids because he used them or are the gains he got with steroids completly erased?

nother question: can it change your genitic build forever?

Yes he can gain more. Even though he will never get the physique he had while on steroids, he will have a slight advantage because he used steroids in the past. (Considering his natural hormone levels are still healthy)

Previously untrained muscles acquire newly formed nuclei by fusion of satellite cells preceding the hypertrophy. Subsequent detraining leads to atrophy but no loss of myo-nuclei. The elevated number of nuclei in muscle fibers that had experienced a hypertrophic episode would provide a mechanism for muscle memory, explaining the long- lasting effects of training and the ease with which previously trained individuals are more easily retrained

Nothing can change your genetics. I have no idea how evolution will affect us as humans but nothing can change your genes in your lifetime

Very good post

I am in the same exact prediciment. Gained a bit & look very solid, none of which could have been done naturally. Now, I am off and have been off for a month. I am not seeing a drastic immidiate change but I can notice the muscle flatten slowly. From what I have seen from the long term users, some still come off, lose a certain percentage then jump back on. The muscle has a memory like effect and they just literally fill right back up.

A blast & cruise is not a true necessity in a way. Lets say, you run a cycle, run a fair PCT then give it time. Then your body's natural test level come back to a normal level of let's say a bit under 600. Why run a TRT dosage? Your natural test levels are fine on their own. That is exactly how mine has gone so far.

But, do understand that the smallest alteration in your workout or your diet will kill what you put on un-naturally extremely fast.

And of course, the more you gain the harder it is to keep.

So far, I have started @ 175 pounds and 17% Bf or so. Now I am 200 flat & @ 12%+Bf. All of this is from a year and a half period and 3 cycles. Like mentioned earlier, I been completely off juice for one month. I lost 7 pounds of water, no noticeable muscle, my strength is very close to what it was while on my last cycle(within 5%, some lifts are even better), yet my stamina is damn near non existant compared to while on cycle. My libido has crashed & I am in random depressive states from my PCT meds(clomid & nolvadex).

I agree, however let's say you're planning to run another cycle 4 weeks after your pct is done. In this case, you're stressing your body by suppressing the hpta just after stimulating it. It would be healthier, (and possibly cheaper) to run trt doses instead of doing pct + 4 weeks off. So cruising can be very useful if you plan to stay off for a short period of time. Just my opinion...

I agree, I stayed on for 7 months total. Ran a 2 month bulk cycle, then bridged with a TRT type dose to my next cut cycle. Just the suppression is very harsh if you do decide to want to try to bounce your natural test levels back. < That is where I am at now - Trying my best to not just jump right back on a low test dose. Tough, one way or the other.

Tough, but really worth the physique you obtain

Maybe

I feel quite rough at the moment coming off a bit of sauce. My emotions are all over the place, I am trying to stop doing drugs all together for a bit to at least get some control back. Along with this, my libido is gone to hell. < this alone makes shit really rough.

i guess thats the price you take for doing steroids huh? but i guess if it was worth it :)

thanks for all the good anawers pretty much anserwerd my question :)

It is the price, everything positive has its negatives. Sucks ass at times

Good luck man

In answer to the original question: Can you gain back to the point where you were with steroids without using them?

If you had diet and training on track and cycled only when gains stalled after training for several years then the answer is NO..!!!

intresting Quote!

if i may add something:

only if you're a pessimist

Sorry to use the word "always". Always does not always apply. But, juice does have its downsides. But, yet it is the only true supplement that works.

i dont agree that you slowly go back to your former shape. after going off after 4yrs on when i was 22 i didnt lose any muscles i kept my size and after a year i started slowly grow again. tbh i havnt met anyone who shrink afterwards considering they keep their diet good. I dont believe its all down to genetics, if you still eat like a beast and train hard you wont lose anything is my saying, me and my buddies never had anyways

I think it depends on the gains made on cycle. If you gained 5 pounds on a cycle, then train hard and eat right, you'll probably be able to get it back. However, if you are like me and a lot of other guys here, the answer is No. I can gain 5 pounds in a week while on cycle. I've trained for several years, all hard and all natural, so now that I'm doing a cycle, my muscle density is insane. No way I believe I can attain this naturally once gone. Even with the water bloat, my density is better than when natural. Just sayin.

I think that if you got really big&strong while taking a lot of gear (like world record power lifter/strong man/oly lifter with ronnies physique) you'd never be able to match that naturally even if age and injuries aren't a factor.

If you did a short cycle to look good for the summer? Yes, sure.

And steroids to increase your natty potential a bit. Your muscle fibers have many nuclei in them (they are basically really long cells with multiple nuclei), when the muscles hypertrophy nuclei are added to support the larger fibers and those nuclei don't disappear when the fiber shrinks back.

Well, here is some real world experience.
I have been off gear for over two and a half months. I am still the same size, yet I feel softer overall. My strength and stamina is down about 10%. For instance I use to do deadlifts of 405 pounds without issues. Now, I am pulling 365 pounds but with a bit of difficulty.

This is the best real life comparison I can see. Along with this, I get much more fatigued while & after lifting. Which makes it much harder to keep up with myself while I was on the juice.
