Opioids Can Tylenol cause stomach cramps? Taking T3s daily waking up with stomach pain/cramps

Hey everyone, I have been taking about 1000-1500 mg of Tylenol daily now for about 1 month in the form of T3s and T2s...it's a pity really that I have to take this crap, but I can't be bothered doing CWE on T2s (all I got at the moment). However, I make sure never to take more than 900 mg of paracetamol at once...although over the course of a day I might take up to 2000 mg.

Anyhow, seeing that this is below the daily maximum (3500 mg)...am I doing myself harm? The stomach pain/cramping seems to be due to the codeine because it is accompanied by diharrea...though I read on some other bluelight posts that Tylenol causes some people stomach discomfort and other such gastrointestinal effects.

Anyone experience this?

That´s a lot of paracetamol in your system. Specially if you take it daily. It´s not good for the liver, so you should actually try to alternate with something else or take care of your liver using supplements. You don´t need to go the maximum to feel physically bad as it depends on your weight plus you are taking these tablets daily.

Hi OP,

The NSAID's that are packaged with codeine, even in less than dangerous amounts like what you are taking, can be hard on the body. Gastrointestinal discomfort is a common symptom, again, due to the NSAID's in whatever pills you are taking.

The easy way to solve this problem and mitigate 95% of the negative health effects of abusing Tylenol w/ Codeine is to perform a Cold Water Extraction on your pills. It's simple, requires zero chemistry knowledge and will ultimately save you a lot of problems down the road. There are guides galore accross the web and on this site that will explain to you step by step how to do it.

I realize this but have heard from others on here that 2000 mg a day is fine, but I agree CWE is much better..I am just lazy and depressed at the moment, just want to get off everything but the psychological addiction is basically what has a grip on me...I don't even think it's very much a physical thing at this point, just mental. I'm just gonna try and take 1 or 2 T2s for a couple more days and then take a Valium.

That's the first thing I thought of when I read your post. I've been on numerous opiates for decades and IMO codeine is one of the worst drugs for the stomach, by a long shot. I'm sure it's possible the Tylenol could be causing some of your discomfort but without the codeine present, I really doubt you'd feel it as bad as you have. Good Luck!
