As far as I know L-Tyrosine does not increase stimulant tolerance. But in my experience (not sure) it kinda does. I also think it is a bit logical because tyrosine increases the dopamine in your brain, so your receptors will downregulate because of that?

Someone that can shed a light on this one?

tyrosine increases the dopamine in your brain

it doesn't. a lack of tyrosine may lead to dopamine deficiency but taking more isn't going to make your brain produce more DA.
even taking levodopa alone is pretty useless - most of it is destroyed before it reaches the brain.

proper nutrition and vitamins will help reduce stimulant tolerance. so get your vitamins.

Thx for your quick response Seiko. Btw I heard somewhere that the B6 takes care that tyro crosses the blood brain barrier.

tyrosine crossing the blood brain barrier isn't the problem. the problem is that aromatic amino acid decarboxylase (an enzyme) that exists outside of your BBB is very effective at destroying extra 5-HTP, tyrosine or L-DOPA. so most of the ingested tyrosine doesn't even make it to the BBB in the first place.

A better use of your money may be simply increasing the protein content of your diet.
