Is it possible to take a seroquel and sleep for 12 hours and wake up and immediately take another seroquel and fall back asleep for 12 more hours? kinda like a self induced mini coma? can I do that?

this is what happened"
i took 200mg which is double my dose on accident last night and ended up sleeping until 8pm. I really really want to get on a better sleep schedule. could I just wait til like midnight and take 200mg again and then wake up by hopefully noon? what do you think

Don't do it.
you will be fucked up ( in not a nice way) for at least a few days. im not going to get into it but Seroquel is not designed and does not work the best by taking large amounts of it. it will cause you more problems in the long run.
Take your normal dose, if it doesnt work ride it out until you pass out from exhaustin. you'll sleep and wont become dependant on the drug

Its certainly possible, seroquel has the same efffects the first few times. I wouldn't recommend it, on the other hand I would only recommend seroquel unless you were trying to enter a coma....

Any way, you'll probably turn into a zombie, your metabolism is much slower when your wacked out on the quel. So you'd probably sleep for even longer, then wake um with no energy, and its going to suck all the dopamine out of your brain.

Buy hey, those are antipsychotics for ya

Yea, bad idea.
My opinion is sort of biased though cuz I am a self proclaimed "seroquel hater".
That shit has brought me nothing but problems/pain/and uncomfortableness....bleh.

Well, using any sedative/drug to keep yourself for 24 hours at a time is really unpleasant. I have never had the displeasure of trying Seroquel (I am sure I would hate it like JB) so I can't comment on it, but with any drug, it's just not pleasant. Your body needs to be awake and asleep, not just one or the other.

you can but first off all that much seroquel within 24 hours? the buzz will last quite a while, especially because of the repeated dosing, and not to mention its damaging effects on the dopamine receptors with repeated use. btw, too much sleep itself can have adverse affects on the mind.

Doesnt seroquel make you sleepier at lower doses anyway? I mean 25mg or 200mg or whatever would bomb me out regardless, but do ya need to take so much. I hate seroquel, no doc but think you probably better with an antihistamine.... depending on what other meds you on and stuff

seroquel is NOT a fun drug to be on at all. I wouldn't be saying this if I haven't had any experience on this drug. don't do it. you will not be happy with taking it at all my friend. be safe.

like everyone else has said, don't do it. they started prescribing me seroquel when i was 16, and since then, its been a rollercoaster and a lot of hatred when trying to go to sleep. At one point, I couldn't sleep without it.

Use seroquel sparingly, it can really mess up your schedule. I personally use it now for comedowns.
