I bought a brown glass dropper bottle of marquis reagent liquid tester. My bottles a slight bit over half full. I was wondering if it is possible to dilute it with alcohol or water or anything really or if that would just mess it up. Any help would be awesome. Also this is my first post on here so if I did anything wrong I apologize. I have used this site as a reference for a long time and think there are a lot of beautiful smart positive minded people on here I look forward to talking to. Any feedback is again much appreciated. Thank you all. :)

I would say no, not at all.

The contain like a LOT of tests anyways, and they are CHEAP... not like you really need to stretch them out that far lmao. If you really want to save money, go buy like a liter of Sulfuric acid and a liter of formaldehyde and whip up a new batch every time the old one run out/gets contaminated.

It's a pretty simply reagent to make, their are guides online as well.

Thanks bud. Your right they are pretty cheap. And deff worth the money. The RCs over the past few years have really gotten bad. I wish I could get ahold of formaldehyde. I've never come across the stuff. Is there a place to buy it I don't know of? Thanks again for the response and help.
