Can i share a needle

you shouldnt share needles with anyone

that being said, i have shared before with my long term partner.

depends how much you trust the person.

It's just a bad habit to get into. You just shouldn't get into it period. It's highly unhygienic too.

Bad idea. There are other concerns beyond just transmission of STD's, and, as someone said, it's a bad habit to get into. If you put it as something you will just never do, it is slightly easier to avoid in a moment of desperation. It's a very troublesome thing, needle-sharing. I've seen a bit more of it than I would like to admit, although I've never done it ... worst I've done is go after somebody but after cleaning the syringe and even that felt like a boundary violation of an absolute commitment that I've made to myself. As far as sharing rigs with your SO goes, I've known more than 1 junkie couple who did it eiher as a "sign of trust" or because "fuck it, we have unprotected sex anyway" ... but really more often because they got off on it on some levle ... but no reason is really good enough. Rigs are cheap and easy to get (even if you live in a state that is fascist about it, google is your friend), and there's totally no benefit from sharing it ... none at all ... and many reasons not to. Don't do it.

It's not a good idea at all. But that being said my husband of 5 years is the only person i would share needles with. He was tested for all kinds of disease and I saw the results plus I trust him and he cums in my butt lol.

I once shared a needle with a friend, well I cleaned it, boiled it in water and alcohol for an extended period of time. But just the thought of it makes me cringe. It's on my mind all the time that I got some kinda disease. It's just not worth doing it. Get ur own clean syringe cuz u might really regret it in the future.

You shouldn't re-use needles, period. Not on yourself, and nevermind sharing them. Once you use a needle, bend it and dispose of it.

I personally think that injecting drugs with kids around is a more troubling prospect.

to make an assumption, heroin addicts generally aren't the most attentive parents. they tend to put drugs before their child's needs . better than a meth addict or raging alcoholic, but that's a red herring.

Truth.

And to the OP, even if you are ABSOLUTELY certain that it is sterile (which you cannot be) the bigger risk is in the bluntness of the needle tip and what it does to your veins with multiple uses.

Here is a microscopic picture of what needles look like after a series of uses:

Do you really want that pushing into yours or your girlfriend's veins?
