Does anyone know whether Stilnox CR 12.5mg tablets can be crushed? Or are they like those new Oxys, which retain the SR mechanism no matter what you do to them?

Does anyone know whether crushing tablets can ever render them totally ineffective? As in, not just do nothing to get rid of the SR, but actually make them altogether useless? I crushed the Stilnox CR's yesterday and got absolutely nothing. When I took them normally it was way better.
