I'm standing in the light
I stay in the light
drink beer

the light switch doesn't
work

never said it was any good.
just felt like writing it
and no,
I've had far too little beer tonight,
much too little;
I only have 2 left,
yet these 2 beers belong with me
as part of the whole
as part of my declamation of reality
as bait for the witch hunters
and if I haven't written about my 2 beers enough
maybe I should
and maybe that
was,
enough poetry for tonight.
may we all be drunk forever
together.
