burnt meth pipe

I had a little pickle (meth pipe) and my friend wanted some meth but I couldn't do any because of a drug test for work so I let him barrow it until I passed and could smoke again well he asked where I go them and asked if I'd buy him one when I saw my pickle it was back as coal so I told him to keep it an I got a new one with a crack in it I used it fora few days it just kept getting worse so I went in when they ordered more and got me a bigger slightly thicker pickle and when I used it the next few day with it being thinker I had to fiddle with the flame to find the best distance for it and I kinda burnt it not as bad as the first one but its burnt how can I clean it and make it look new again and witch is better short or long pickle and I'm now new to this but I'm also not a professional is there any tips and hints I should know like how to make my bowl last longer And not have it turn slightly light Brown when smoking how to clean and smoke the residue without it burning up so fast and what's the best way to smoke it when I get shake almost powdery ice without it burning up so fast and so on
 
you're holding the flame too close if you're creating black residue. plus it's just dirty, clean it with magic eraser or even a wet cloth and it will go away

and you can mix ice into e-juice and put it into an e-cig, I've heard

your lighter flame should never touch the pipe, if it's becoming black your way to close. Also I use a blow torch to clean my pipes. just torch the bowl till everything burns off. I'f I have no torch I use a stove top element.
