Bupropion (brand name Wellbutrin) is an atypical antidepressant. Unlike "standard" antidepressants, which are SSRIs, bupropion is classed as an a norepinephrine–dopamine reuptake inhibitor (NDRI). This puts is sort of halfway between an SNRI like Effexor and a classic stimulant like amphetamine. I can't find anything on NDRI or bupropion interactions with LSD. SSRI interactions are well-documented online. I just got a 10-strip and I'm really looking forward to tripping with some friends but this will be the first time I do so since starting Wellbutrin. From what I can find, it doesn't seem like there would be a dangerous interaction. Wellbutrin mostly works on dopamine and norepinephrine while LSD stimulates the 5HT receptor. Seems like I'd be feeling good. Has anyone tried this combination? I'm currently on 150mg of Wellbutrin per day, considered a low dose. Thanks!
 
Dangerous? Absolutely not.
Possibly reduce or increase effect of LSD? Unreliable research suggests probably not.
