Stimulants Bupropion (wellbutrin) Therapy, and Amphetamine?

ok I took my prescribed dose of adderall (20mg a day).. well about 40mg in 36 hours to be honest and I feel CRAZY. I used to take prolly 200mg a day or 80mgs of dexedrine. anyway I got bad adhd and actually need it. but hate the shit WTF. I don;t use illegal drugs, drink or smoke anymore btw.

long story shot right when I was about to crash my girl really stimulated me. same shit always happens I take a lowish dose of adderall I fall asleep for 2 hours, I wake up relaxed and calm. maybe 15 hours after I take a 30mg xr I get tired. well if I don't sleep in that 5min window (usually don't) THEN I get stimulated and my eyes dialate and I sweat, heart racing kinda love but hate the feeling (hate mostly) am hungry, sore and I eat very well and work out when not on them.wtf.

anyway, I skipped 2 days of bupropion I took 150g of lyrica and 1mg of clonazepam. of course it did nothing. nothing overrides this feeling. it's not that bad you know but you can tell so damn toxic. I never have any pain much less all my organs and muscles feel shut down.

so can I safely take my dose 150mg sr of bupropion? how will the downregulation effect the amphetamine feeling? I last took 10mgs 20 hours ago. thank you sorry usually I am WAY more coherent and put together lol.

btw, I have eaten fairly well yesterday and this morning and yaken a good multi but i stll feel like I have the flu. no more amphetamines EVER. not even 5mg. I would just sleep it off anyway. slept after taking 40 mg of dexedrine about half the time.
 
oh this is the 1st time I have taken amp in years.

and I guess what I'm asking is can I take it safely now and not have a seizure (I have had 1 before coming off of clonazepam)? also how will it make me feel IE: the downregulation.
 
Don't take buproprion if you have amphetamine in your system. Wellbutrin is a NDRI and will act in a similar, but not identical, physiological manner to amphetamines. It's a stimulant drug after all.

I don't know what you mean by "downregulation". If you think it's going to counteract amphetamine, you're going to be disappointed. Bupe is a downregulator of the norepinephrine and dopamine transporters (and nicotinic receptors) but the end result is an increase in the amount of dopamine and norepinephrine that actually acts on your receptors.

I think you should lay off the drugs and detox a bit, but that's just me...
 
Perfect answer thank you very much. I will continue my bupropion therapy tomorrow. stupid amphetamines lol, how do people do it??
