Hey guys...I need some help. I've been on suboxone for quite some time...i was doing good...then i would relapse...my last relapse, was very bad..was doing about a gram- a gram and half a day. needless to say, i ODed. they pronounced me dead at one point, the emt refused to quit and got me back. Haven't touched it since, that was 3 weeks to a month ago. however, im back on Suboxone. my doctor and my girl want me to do the vivtrol shot. Doc, out of nowhere, last week says "i need you to stop suboxone til you come in next week for the shot." I looked at him and said, dude you just UPPED me to 8mg/day 2 weeks ago. We've been discussing vivatrol for a month. YOU NEVER MENTIONED THAT GETTING VIVATROL ON SUBS WAS THE WORST IDEA POSSIBLE. he tells me...if you cant handle it, to get high instead...WTF? im all set...i aint making my kid an orphan..I FREAKING DIED!! anyways, needless to say. I took 8 mgs wednesday, i had work...had to. couldnt take it anymore. im supposed to go in for vivatrol Tomorrow (monday) so 4 days off subs. i have upset stomach, chills, sweats, low energy, and all the minor symptoms. is this a horrible idea? as anyone done vivatrol with subs in system? thanks in advance!

well, since noone had an answer..went through with it..got the shot monday, its wednesday. im feeling great...it knocked everything out of me. I stopped for a week prior. First day i got it, bad stomach cramps BAD. Second day, i could barely walk. today, i have anxiety and sweats. BUT, i want to go out. I feel like i can take on the world...i feel freed....i have 3 years clean i relapsed 2 years ago, im gonna do it again...PLEASE, if anyone reads this. i did alot of research on Bupe. GET OFF IT, FAST! i was taking it for like a year. i stopped and started getting high again. for about 2 months, i would only take a piece of one to hold me over if i was really sick at work til i could cop. I started back on them about 2 and 1/2 weeks ago. and come off..not a bad withdrawal at all...just the anxiety and sweating right now. Body aches are a pain...oh and the sleeping...yeah there's that. BUT if anyone wondered what i did... thats it right there.. im done...I'm finally going to be me again..good luck to all...hmu here if you have any questions..ill do my best to help out..DONT BE A PRISONER IT GETS BETTER!!. remember, as someone who i admired alot once said all day, every day...Easy Does It...
