Has anyone been lucky enough to try bubble has, yet? Unfortunately, I haven't as of yet, but a good friend of mine recently got to sample some when he was a judge at the Toker's Bowl in BC this past May. I've heard it really brings out the flavor of the marijuana used to make it.

I'm just looking for opinions on it, whether it's from actually sampling some to using the porous bags available to make it. Is it worth it?
 
Yup, I tried it. And yup, it's fucking insane =D

It is not really worth it to do it with buds unless you have shitloads of great buds and just want a really crazy smoking experience. The stuff I smoked was from Sweet Tooth buds - fucking INSANE - it was legally grown by a Swiss dude I know that supplies (or at least he did last year) a large number of medical marijuana patients.

He packed one hit for me in a glass bong, and once I stopped coughing five minutes later I was fucking couchlocked! And this was after days of smoking great stuff in Amsterdam, so my tolerance was up! :)

depending on what system you use (Ice-O-Lator or bubble bags) you get a number of graded bags. These will allow you to fractionally seperate the trichomes. The theory being that different sized trichomes will have a different high, due to age affecting THC/CBD ratios.
Very handy for getting something smokable from the fan leaves you'd normally chuck in the bin.
 
Yes it is definitley worth it. Ive never been that big of a hash fan, but this stuff brings on a stoned feeling like Ive never felt before~
 
yeah I agree with everyone, its really a unique high. I've only tried it once, I'd love to again.
 
Bubble Hash

Hey,

I just got back from Amsterdam where I highly enjoyed some great "bubble hash" from the Dampkring coffee house (highly recommended for their products and the ambience).

It's probably the most potent cannabis product I've ever smoked. A cube two millimeters on a side would get me as buzzed as I wanted to be.

How the heck do they make that stuff?
 
A product called Bubble Bags. Can't give out a source, but it's like a bag that filters trichromes, has different size filters. Lots of growers use them on their leftover plant material. Bubble Hash is the shit :D
 
If you search for bubble bags on google, you`ll probably find them. Have you ever been to overgrow.com? There are people there that build their own bubblebags, might be a lot cheaper.(if this counts as giving out a source, please delete it)
 
I don't think the adress to the Bubblebags website is a source. The Bubblebag's not gonna get you high. You need something to put inside it ...

I would definetly get a Bubblebag if I ever got myself to growing a few lil' plants. Why throw away all those leafs when you can make some high-quality hash out of it?

Blows my mind.
 
Once again - no sources for anything no matter the purpose. No sources for shaving cream, no sources for cocaine, no sources for anything that gets you high and no sources for anything that does not get you high ;)

The only exception tends to be needle exchanges and test kits, since it's clearly and inextricably linked to harm reduction.

That being said - if you go to Overgrow.com you will find them in two seconds flat - the owners of the Bubblebag company actually post there for one thing - and they also part sponsor the place ;)

bubble hash can be made using any method.. it is just very fine trichomes that have had all of the bigger tricomes filtered out. the hash made from this keif will bubble when smoked. bubble bags are one product that allows this.

and as far as sources go: if you recommend it for use with cannabis, it is then by definition paraphernalia and paraphernalia sources are prohibited. this goes for links to potato stores if you are recommending someone make a potato into a pipe. if you link to shaving cream but it's not drug related, then it isnt a problem
 
Really? I was under the impression that any sources of any kind were outlawed - I am pretty sure I have seen threads closed because they asked for sources for things even if they were totally unrelated to any drugs...?

i think it is up to the mods to decide for each forum. E-Z Test kits are paraphernalia imo but they are advertised here at BL :) For Cannabis Discussion i have adopted the rule i described just to make it easy to consistantly determine what is an ok source and what is not. There is no debate like "Well links to silkscreens are ok, so why arent links to tobacco water pipes, since they both have legit uses"

but this is getting off topic :) back to bubble hash
 
Bubble has is the shit. it uses cold water filtration system to filter the trichomes. its just potent hash basically.
 
making hash out of an once of buds

I'v never made hash but I looked on net and found the ice hash method sounds quite simple how r the yeild if u use some quite average buds but there realy dry though. how much can I expect to get if I use an once of buds
 
my advice? dont - bud is better unless you're going to make hash to turn into thc oil - very difficult however
 
well, you could do both. :)

first grind the weed and make it a powder, do the ice water extraction method to make hash, should produce a pretty good yield, can't tell you how much exactly, it depends mostly on the amount of trichomes on the bud. i haven't seen the weed so i can't give you a guesstimate, but with good weed it's usually a nice amount of hash.

let the soaked weed dry up again and make hash oil with another method. simple as that.

Ice Hash from Schwag?

I am curious if anyone has ever tried making Ice/bubble hash from schwag? I can get nugs, but I am not in a position to grow them right now, thus I don't have the necessary clippings to make ice hash. It would be way too expensive for me to buy enough nugs to make a worthy amount of ice hash. But I would like to make some, so my only option is to use shwag. Has anyone tried? Does it turn out very good? I am not interested in peoples theories, I want to hear peoples experiences only!

Sure you can. If the shwag you speak of has trichomes on it (what it does..), you can make hash out of it. Ofcourse it won't yield as much as potent weed, but that's just the way it works.
