When I tested some Mitsi's I have they turned a murky beige/brown then black in less than 4-5 seconds. Someone told me this meant they must have an amphetamine ( I guess they're thinking red color change???) Is this OK? I read in another post it was typical of MDMA?? Confused. Very new to all this....

They may have a hint of (meth)amphetamine but this usually produces an orange flash, not brown.

No trace of purple ?
And that brownish, it is normal you see that for one tenth of a second when the liquid hits the sample but then it should go straight to very dark purple.
If you are very sure you do not see any purple, then this might be DXM.
I tested some DXM (pure) not so long ago and what I've seen is what you describe.
I'd say, send one to DanceSafe.
