I found my boss on facebook talking shit about his employees (yes he is that retarded). I am currently in a HR battle with him and wondering if I should bring up the fact that he posts on facebook about his employees?

Its usually women and the ones that are out on sick leave. I couldnt believe he was talking smack about this girl thats out on medical leave because she has cancer. He was saying how she is fucking everything up cuz he cant fire her or hire someone to replace her and she is just being a baby about being sick. I was like WTF being a baby about havinf cancer? WOW!

So far he hasnt posted anything about me. So I dont know if I should even mention it in my case.

Make sure you screen shot everything he says asap. I don't think you should bring it up to him but if theirs a person of higher power above him then I would talk to them.

well me and him dont talk. everything between me and him have to go through and approved communication source ie Human Resourses, His boss or a dis-interested 3rd party.

We are in a harassment/hostile work environment issue as well as an issue with violation of my state and federal workers rights.

Apparently I am not the first person he has harrassed. None of my co-workers understand why he is still there. I guess we are peons and he is management. But I am going to fight this to the end. Even if I have to get an attonrney. Fuck corporate America

Yeah, I would definitely fight it but make sure you have the proof, like I mentioned in my first post. If there are others there to record your conversation....or just hear it then I would talk to your boss about him talking shit on the other workers. Ask him why he finds the need to harass others? Hopefully he will get fired and you can get a new boss because this guy is a piece of crap. Wish you the best of luck and get the attorney if you feel the need to because you most likely are going to need one.

raise it only if
a: you can prove it
and
b: it supports the "pattern of behaviour" he's subjecting you to.

i deal with these kinds of cases on a daily basis. i hope you had diarised all instances of inappropriate behaviour prior to lodging the dispute. i'm happy to advise, welcome any pm q's.

it seems irrelevan
kind of like tattle telling and pointing fingers
almost desperate lol.

as long as he isnt acting out on anything he says about these people.

i wouldn't be so quick to write it off, workplace bullying and harassment takes form in many guises.

copy screen print go run tell

At my exit interview, HR manager and the practice administrator asked me numerous questions about postings on facebook.
I was surprised that this was of interest to them what employees go on about on the internet.
They were concerned it was disparaging to the medical practice.

I have about 20 fb friends that are co-workers and that list continues to diminish the longer I work there. I block all other employees I come across who that I don't associate with. I also block any administrative and their relatives. I also don't talk shit about work online.

After I thought about how many co-workers I have as fb friends, I went back and slashed it to 6

Absolutely. Just because it's posted on Facebook doesn't mean it's irrelevant because he is CLEARLY acting out at work. This type of bullshit behavior needs to be dealt with and trust me, the company doesn't want a lawsuit on its hands (which is where this seems to be headed).

As others said - not really. It's 2011, we have earned the right to be comfortable at work.
