I've been reading bluelight for years, off-and-on, and it has been an invaluable research aid so I thought it was about time I registered. Seems only right to post here after lurking for so long.

Not sure what to say here, maybe I should have just jumped into another section! ;-)

Northern monkey, from that there engurland. Love music (hence the username - easy enough to figure out two bands/artists I like from that.) and my taste is quite eclectic.

Completely out of things to say, so I'll leave it at that.

Blondie is a little more cryptic - in the movie Videodrome, Debbie Harry burns her own chest with cigarettes.

Is that from Human traffic?
Tragic. I typically thought it was from The Young Ones.

and they are a pretty decent band, but do not believe they ever broke the states

I was quoting The Young Ones, I'd completely forgotten it was used in the 'Spliff Politics' scene of Human Traffic. Now I want to watch it again - gotta find the original release first, I've only got the awful remix.
