Blunts for freshening

I have heard some people use a piece of a blunt to freshen up their bud or give it some flavor. Can doing this cause mold? Or is it less likely than when using an orange peel?

I personally wouldn't flavor my bud but I've never heard of using some bluntwrap to do it either. It's probably better than using an orange peel though, I would imagine.

Don't think it causes mold but I've never heard of someone doing this. I guess you just open a flavored blunt wrap and let it sit in a jar with your bud? Idk

Sorry if I was misleading but I'm actually not doing this for flavor. I was hoping to freshen it up a bit without using an orange peel because I hear it causes mold and makes your bud taste bad. Someone replied it wouldn't cause mold so I'm assuming I can just put a piece of blunt in the bag and let it sit?
I don't smoke blunts but I guess I could always set them aside and use the bag lol.
