Pillthrills without a doubt - the focus, the background, sunbleached and threadbare- very thought provoking.

I had to toss a coin between Cletus and Startripper. It fell Cletus's way. Nice pic man!

As usual, there's a lot of good entries to choose between... Pillthrill, Changed and Jude were my runners-up (in no particular order) but I went for negrogesic in the end - a very atmospheric shot that makes me think of American road movies .

Ha! Just noticed that Spadey Baby's name has been changed to TheSpace. For some reason I'm finding it highly amusing :D.

Would have been even more amusing to have gone the whole hog and included his middle names "Waste" and "Of" too, mind .

I really liked RoxiPoppyGirl's but couldn't help thinking it said "Frenchy" instead of "Americana". Great photo, but I had to go with Spade. For someone who says he is crap at macro shots, I think you did a brilliant job of your Benjamins.
