Even though I loved the high energy shots and the lightning, I really fell for felix's take on it. A quiet, subtle photograph.

what started as a really quiet round ended with some pretty nice entries.

but nothing comes close to the pure spectacular of the first entry imo

It was a close call between a few of you, but Dtergent prevailed in the end. I love the atmosphere in that photo. It's almost like a painting

Didn't get an entry this time, all i had to offer were some aerial photos of power stations or other non creative material.

I really liked the entry by tambourine-man, it's just so pretty. Yeah there are others that rate really high on the cool factor, this one is the sort I'd like to have on my wall. Well done.

i voted for HisNameIsFrank although i do wish it was framed slightly lower capturing a bit more foreground siluette (SP?) and less clouds. but never the less im impressed. ive never had the oprtunity to capture a lightning bolt like that....

Dtergent is my 2nd choice
