I voted for BA. Great photo... and somewhat more difficult for an American to capture the theme. Good job. I knew this round was going to be close.

tough call. BA's photo is simple but terrific-looking. i love the colors and off center blooms in Klue's. but i'm a sucker for a nicely lit city skyline, so i had to vote for impacto.

Much though I enjoyed the fauna pics, Raving Loony's has beer in it and nothing says Australia to me like a man with two plastic cups of beer and a manic grin :D

As others have said, BA deserves credit for capturing his peice of australiana from the US, thank god no submissions have been billboard pictures of that dreadful film 'Australia'.

My photo screams to me Australiana. Eucalypts are the most diverse genus of all Australian plants with 1000 or so species, and they exist in every corner of the continent. Oh well

But, my vote goes to Impacto because I love the way its cropped...
