This came up in another thread, and it struck me as fun. We read a lot about each other, and some of you I know fairly well. So now it’s time to start making pairs. Think about the Bluelighters you know well and which ones belong together, and give a short reason why you think this.

After that we have weddings.

My first pick will be:

SoHiAlltheTime and drrty grrl

This is the match made in “heaven.” They are both members of the small group of Bluelighters that attend church, and think of it as a center piece of their characters. drrty grrl is looking for a chivalrous guy, and Sohi wants a girl that isn’t offended by chivalry. Both are drug free (another bluelight oddity), and neither of them smoke which they seem to think is important. Sohi will need to take a greater interest in music, and drrty grrl will have to listen to a lot of politics, but I’ve been told that people are supposed to grow into their arranged marriage. It’s part of the fun.

Now when you two kids get hitched I’m not coming to the wedding unless drinks are being served. They don’t have to be free, but they have to be there. I don’t do weddings without drinks, got it.

Drinks would of course be on the house my friend! I am a christian, but that doesnt mean i am not any fun! :p

And for the record, i OCCASIONALLY smoke pot. Cigerettes? YUCK!

Though, i must say i think you would be putting her in a bad situation being that i am pretty much despised here on BL. :\

I've got this feeling that the chemistry between the two of them would be amazing. They both have sexy accents, they're both incredibly intelligent and articulate. They have different, but complementary senses of humor. They are both deep and intense emotionally, but neither takes themselves too seriously.

A match made in heaven IMO.

As for a gay couple: beachboyty and Dr. J. Also both intelligent, articulate and I believe their relationship would be fun and lighthearted. :)

I don't know will it be one of those cool Jewish weddings where he gets to step on a glass? I always liked that part. If so yes, but I don't think his parents will be attending in that case;)

Funny aside:

My stepmom is Jewish, and when her and my dad got married they didn't give him much direction about how to step on the glass. So he stomped on it like it was trying to get away. The joke that night was "Dale it's not a rat at the farm, you could have gone easier on it."

Oh, there will certainly be a glass getting stomped on at my wedding! We can make an excuse that it's rather rock & roll, can't we?

Quite the contrary, I enjoy arguing with you. It keeps my mind working, and prevents me from getting dull. I don't many people that can actually hold an arguement with me. You're one of them, but don't let it get to your head. Now go pray!
