blowing weed in cats face?

ive heard of people blowing weed smoke in their cats or even dogs face and according to them their cat/dog enjoys it i once very sisoftly blew a bit of smoke in my cats faced she immediatly smelt it and quickly walked out the room and felt very guilty but i was wondering if any one here does this just out of interest
 
Blowing smoke into your animals face is a good way to damage their sensitive noses, dont do it. If you must satisfy this urge, break a tiny piece off an edible and feed it to him one time to see what happens. Make sure the piece is small. If your cookie is strong enough to get a 150 pound guy high, imagine how small you have to adjust the dosage downward for a 10 pound cat.

Ive gotten my chihuahua high twice in this manner years ago and she didnt appear to like it either time. She loves good beer though, so at least she occasionally catches a buzz for a little release from time to time.
 
my budgie definitely enjoyed a nice bit of smoke. hed get all fluffed up and start hanging down low on his perch like hes gonna fall off but he never did.
 
Please don't do this. It amounts to abuse in my opinion.

That said my cat always seems to be around when I'm smoking...
 
You shouldn't blow smoke directly into a pets face. Their noses are super sensitive and it irritates the membranes.

My cat however, will get up and walk into the cloud of smoke when I exhale and start sniffing it.
 
Our cat used to get stoned sometimes. All of us unthinking mothers blowing smoke in pussy's direction.
The poor animal then used to stumble around.
It would try to jump up on the table and you'd see its whole body make the leap, but nothing happened and cat sitting there with a bemused look trying to work out what had gone wrong.
 
I will admit that I have purposely gotten pets stoned a few times in the past, but I don't do it anymore. I don't think badly of people who do do it, but I think it's unfair to the animals because they don't have a choice in the matter. It's like somebody slipping you a drug that you have never tried and know absolutely nothing about without you being aware of it until the effects start to kick in.
 
weed has been proven to be toxic to dogs, if you put yourself in the animal's position its like getting drugged unexpectedly and is tantamount to abuse

have some empathy and save the weed smoke for your own lungs
 
If it's a cat, get it stoned to your heart's content. If it's a dog, don't. Dog's rule the pet animal world, everyone knows that.

On another note when I got my pup i took him for a spin in a car and we were smoking weed in there, it was pretty much dutchied out. So there's a possibility that my dog's strange fucking behaviour is a result of my blasé attitude to this topic of discussion. He licks walls for hours, no one knows why, except me possibly.
 
I won't lie I have done it many times in my youth :o. I feel very guilty about my dog & another friends dog as they clearly did not like it. However my friends dog who was a Dingo x German Shepherd (think shep sized dingo with the extra muscle & pure blonde). This dog loved weed & I mean loved it. She would sit with us when we smoked & angle her head towards the bong smoker enjoying a face full of smoke every time. It was a foolish stoner who left food in their hand as she would eat it :D
 
Don't give you pets drugs - fucks sake, what the fuck is going through your mind when you do this?
