Yesterday I purchased one hit of "LSD" from AFOAF. Not sure about the primary source or purity, not even with access to a blacklight to look for evidence of LSD's presence. Foolish, I know.
After an especially awkward fiasco of buying the blotter (estimated 4mm x 4mm squares with questions marks printed across several) from a fellow university student, my friends (D,G,C, and K) and I proceeded to take our hits. Two exceptions being that D took his about an hour or two earlier than the rest of us out of boredom and C took his about an hour after the rest of us. We all agreed that the hits tasted very bitter and numbed the tongue, my first clue that we were possible dealing with a DOx chem. We proceeded to put on some mellow music and talk for about 30 mins. D had already been slightly buzzed but not tripping, and I was feeling a definite buzz arising.
We decided the best place to trip would be the old oil houses in the woods outside of our campus. They're two small structures, slightly larger than sheds, with a firepit between them. We felt it would be wise to start a fire, seeing as it was cold last night. After much ado, we realized the fire was essentially a waste of effort. By this time we were all tripping and could not manage to get the fire to stay lit for more than 15 minutes at a time, so we gave up and laid on top of one of the structures on our backs, gazing at the sky and trees. We talked about what mild visuals we could see, and agreed that we all felt as one, as if we were cluster of siamese twins. We closed our eyes and came up with trippy scenarios to envision vividly.
Sounds like an acid trip right? Well here's where things got curious: After several hours of fun, acid-like visuals and thoughts, and after trying to start the fire up again by sacrificing a shirt, we decided to go back to campus.
Several of them had strange looks on their faces, and when we saw a car C and I both made a very giddy noise and agreed that the car seemed to be hyper-real in a sense. As we got closer to the main campus, I felt a strange but familiar body high. My experiences with ampethamine pills and marijuana came to mind. The trippiness seemed to gradually dissipate. C was still in a trip-mode, while D and G seemed to be coming down completely. K seemed to be having a similar buzz to mine, but I didn't raise the question.
I suddenly felt a panic attack coming on, and did my best to hold it down. I walked outside of my dorm for a little and relaxed some, but still noting a speedy high with an almost cannabis-esque edge to it. I went back to the food court where my friends were, and explained how I felt. No real agreement on the subjective experience, but some of them still seemed out of it. A sober friend who was with us noted my anxious appearance and laughed as I struggled to eat a parfait.
I then went back to my room and had trouble sleeping. I visited C in his room, and he was still tripping. After conversing for some time, I returned to my room and laid down unable to sleep until much later. When I awoke I felt mostly sober, but at several points today have noticed a strange, positive afterglow that is not within my past LSD experience.
After mulling it over for a while, I believe that the blotter possibly contained both LSD and a DOx, considering the early trippiness later overtaken by an amphetamine type high. Quite a strange experience, although mostly pleasant. It is regrettable that people feel the need to decieve those they are selling to for profit.
