blood toxicology....

i went to the drs. today and she did a "toxicology screen" on me, not sure what for. i am on methadone, but i have used h, and oxy's, weed.....i have masshealth which doesnt pay for anything really, plus i didnt sign a concent form. 2 questions...will h come up as h like in a urine screen, or morphine....and will they even do it with blood and not urine if its cheap as hell with urine but expensive with blood, and oh, could she be doing something else??? and i didnt sign a consent so will they even do it????any answer asap will help, im freaking out!

^ Hopefully she just does a toxicology and not a drug test. When was the last time you used heroin, oxycodone or marijuana? You can search the drug testing archives on here and Erowid to find out if you are likely to test positive. For future reference, drug testing questions aren't usually allowed here as they have mostly all been answered in the Basic Drug Discussion testing archive.

Heroin will come up as morphine most likely, unless testing is done within a few hours and the presence of 6-monoacetylmorphine is detected which is a surefire indicator of H use.

As for what she will be doing with the test... I'm not sure. I'll try this in Healthy Living to see if anyone there knows about toxicology tests and whether doctors can do drug testing on those samples, HL mods feel free to kick back here or elsewhere if you don't want this.
