I didn't buy a virtual ticket, but i have been following it with highlights and videos, i'm a bit dissapointed that the 'Big Announcement' was simply the revealing of Diablo 3's fifth and final class along with PvP, everyone knew a final class was yet to be announced.. so it wasnt a huge surprise like past blizzcon announcements.
What strikes me as odd is the fact that blizzard revealed the cataclysm trailer a few days prior to blizzcon, i still dont understand the value behind doing this.. it seems it would of been better suited to be shown at blizzcon along with the big announcement. - I guess i can only hope that they do indeed have something further to reveal at the end of the convention (ie: new MMO details) but im not holding my breath
As for the games themselves, <- Huge Diablo series fan.. I'm happy to see all the info and videos on the game, and that it still does retain part of its darker atmosphere after watching some of the Demon hunter videos, cannot wait!
I havnt watched any of the Starcraft 2 match's yet, i assume their only available to virtual ticket holders.. the only videos im able to access are ones on the SC2 mods which were interesting.
Having quit WoW sometime during the middle of WotLK after 4 years, i have little interest in cataclysm but having viewed some of the screen-shots i really like the direction their taking it, geographically and gameplay wise. God knows i'll buy it just for the sake of playing through a bit of it... but i very much doubt it will draw me in again.
Now we play the waiting game... :D
